Last June we upgraded from a 30 footer to a 37 footer. What a difference that 7 ft. made. Gas stations are my biggest challenge. Took 3 exits one trip to find one I could get in and out of. I have now started to top off my tank when I see one I can get into. I never pull too close to the pumps so the swing issue is minimized when pulling out.
Cornering on the road has not been so much an issue. I have bumped up on one curb so far. Lesson learned. Like Semi truck drivers, take the realestate you need on the road, most people understand.
Campgrounds can be another issue. For us, we stay in CG's that we know can accomodate us by researching pretty thuroughly. Haven't been shut out yet. You will certainly be limited in some state and federal parks.
Most definately its different than what you have now. My rig is a beast to pull and expect a bit of a learning curve. An abundance of caution is in order. You will get the hang of it if you do go bigger.
