Yes tail swing is when the part behind the TT axles goes the opposite direction that you are turning.
This has been discussed on various forums here, all the new fuel stations are being built with the pump lanes perpendicular to the convenience store, not parallel. So pulling in is easy, but no way can you pull through, there's just not enough room to swing around. So we have gotten adept at backing out of fuel stations to the point it's more the norm than the exception.
