What is the best made travel trailer

Just a quick question. My wife and I have progressed over the years from travel trailer to fifth wheel and now we currently have a 40' diesel pusher motor home. I personally think that the big, fancy motor home has taken the fun out of camping but my wife likes the bling. With that said, I would like to talk her into downsizing but I would have to show her a very nice trailer to possibly get her attention. I currently own a 2011 Toyota tundra that has a tow capacity of approx. 10,000 pounds. I'm just tired of maintaining another vehicle. I have never put more than 2,500 miles in a year on the motor home and i mostly stay in new england. If I go back to a trailer, I can haul bikes, wood and kayaks in the bed or on the roof of my pickup. So with that said, hypothetically, what would be a nicely built travel trailer if I was to trade down? Ps, I would go back to a fifthwheel but then I would have to change trucks also. We both have 10 more years before we could retire and actually use the function of the motor home. Thank you in advanced.

  • If I upgraded trucks, I'd probably give gmc a sot since the independent front suspension would ride a lot better than the solid axle ford
  • She has agreed to look at smaller, gas class A motorhomes so far. Me personally, I like the floor plans of fifth wheels the best. But, I love driving my tundra daily and I didn't like driving 3/4 and 1 ton fords everyday.

  • I guess if I were buying a new TT today, I'd start with Arctic Fox.
Very well made, lots of features...but, they are heavy. Not sure about Arctic Fox and your Toyota.

    Good luck with your search.
  • Just remember if the wife's not happy - no one is happy!!!!:R

I would suggest an Arctic Fox - it is a high quality TT, similar to our Sunline!
