What is the max length travel trailer you think is practical

My definition of the best sites would rarely accommodate the longer rigs. We squeeze our shorter 24' trailer into some great places. But it would get cramped inside quick if there were more than two of us or we stayed an extended time. IF I could swing it, I'd love two RVs. One for camping, one for traveling. My next and likely last one will be a compromise with something about 28' long over all.
