What is the "real" GVWR?
So, after months of looking for a TT for my 2013 Tacoma to safely tow< I'm still confused about the GVWR. On some models the dry weight is say 3155 lbs with the gvwr at 5890lbs. So, I can put 2735lbs ...

Most people on average put about a 1,000# in a camper between food, dishes, grills, lawn chairs etc.... While in an ideal would you'd like you truck to handle the GVWR of the full loaded trailer. So if your dry weight is 3,500# plus 1,000# of stuff puts you around 4,500# of trailer.
Dry weight is what it weighted rolling off the assembly line. Probably will never weight that again, batter(s), propane, etc....
