for fresh water tank drain?
My grey tank handle is next to the outlet. The black is further under the trailer and facing the rear of the trailer. Royal pain to get to. - profdant139Explorer IIThat is a back-scratcher.
Great to see you back on the forum, OP!! I hope all is well with you. - rjf7gExplorerI looked at this post earlier and knew I had seen a key like that...went away for a while and it came to me "manual slide key" - and, I see others beat me to it! Now you know!
- STBRetiredExplorerLooks exactly like the Newmar slide lock/unlock tool.
- NYCgrrlExplorerDepending on the material it's made out of could be a fine fire tending tool as well.
- j_p_f_Explorerfor fresh water tank drain?
- RSD559ExplorerI would like it for my black tank valve! I have to kneel in the gunk and crud and unnamed goo to get to mine. I'll check on e-Bay. They have everything.
- VickiePExplorerThanks Randu, that didn't occur to me, but makes sense.
- RanduExplorerNewmar uses or at least used to use lock arms on their slide outs and that is the tool to engage or disengage the lock arms. I had a 2004 Kountry Star 5th and had good access to arms so just used my hands but the tool is handy for some designs with limited access. Also helpful if you don't have a lot of arm strength. Randu
- VickiePExplorerThanks for posting Holly, I finally remembered my login info!
This is in the Newmar Canyon Star 3911 Class A, the handicap motor home, if that helps. Can't figure out what it is for. I don't think it would be for the awning, too high, it would have to telescope for a wheelchair user.
Note: I don't know if it's in other Newmar's or just this model.
