- rexlionExplorerMy former KZ's build quality was fairly typical, middle of the road. The Sportsmen Classics and Spree Escapes are a good buy for the money. But have the roof inspected regularly and resealed periodically when recommended by the inspecting dealer. My Escape's roof started to leak at the 3.5 year mark.

X2, every trailer I have owned was better than my Jayco/Starcraft product.
I've had 2 KZ's with nearly zero issues. - randy328ExplorerI have a KZ MXT Toy Hauler, almost 2 years old. No issues except those I have created, and will probably buy KZ when I get ready for a new one.
I take it to races, and have probably camped in it over 100 nights so it gets plenty of use. - dadmomhExplorerWe're Rockwood folks buy my cousin and DH had a KZ Sportsmen, maybe a 2003 or so. They never had any issues and it looked very good when they decided it was time to sell. The only "issue", if you could call it that, was that they had a rear slide expandable and camped often at Galveston. The salt air played havoc with the mechanism and he had to keep at the wirebrushing and Rust-o-leum to keep it in good condition. Otherwise, nothing other than routine maintenance.
- bradykExplorerHad ours new since 2005 and can't say anything bad about it. Never been back to the shop for anything. Any little things I have fixed myself. Would I conside them next time absolutely.
- coolbreeze01ExplorerI don't see Jayco as a bench mark. Good luck.
