What kind of Aftermarket Shocks?
So when I upgrade my shocks on my GMC 2500HD what kind of shocks do you guys recommend? Truck is Crew, 4x4, Short Bed. Trailer is 24' 'bout 6000 pounds, bumper pull,(well receiver, actually).

- Dont have either of the bilstiens but why the 4600 over the 5100?
Edit. Oops sorry didnt see the second page before posting - bilsteins. on our 04.5 I switched at 10K miles, on the 2015, switched at about 200 miles. WAY WAY better than factory shocks when towing.
BTW later model 2500/3500 GM don't have a steering damper, but bilstein makes a "replacement" and it fits in the mounting that is still on the truck. Switched to a bilstein damper on the 04.5 around 50K miles, and bought one for the 2015 as soon as we bought it and installed it. - 5100s have a more forgiving ride for a daily driver. Have had both 4600 and 5100s. Prefer the 5100.

- Yup. Got about 120kmi on a set of 5100s right now and none of them have blown out.
4600s are better suited for low speed damping/heavy loads though. - X7 on Bilstein's
