That's a rather myopic way to look at trade between North American neighbours. There are over 1 million new cars sold yearly in Mexico and what portion of those sales comes from auto plants in the US and Canada. If Mexicans decided not to buy cars "built in the US", how many jobs would that cost in the US plants?
Mexico is the 8th largest producer of new autos. Canada is 10th and US is 2nd. We better get used to it.
I don't care where my vehicle is made as long as the quality is there.
