I don't own a diesel yet, and was very close to buying a Ram/ Cummings but I just can't bring myself to buy a truck built in Mexico.
I personally like the ergonomics of the GM trucks. I drive Fords at my parttime job and just can't get really comfortable in the Ford.
What does Mexico have to do with anything? It's all in how the assembly line is managed. Americans are fully capable of building junk cars just the same! I've had far better reliability out of my Mexican built Dodge Ram than my American built Nissan.
I have nothing against the Mexican worker, I would rather give my money to a fellow American worker. My 2005 Chevrolet is made in Pontiac, MI., and it is a good truck.
It does not matter anymore where things are manufactured. Most Americans have 401K plans, or some type of retirement plan. That money is highly invested in the markets. The markets depend tremendously on World Economy. So you are putting money in Americans pockets one way or another.
