What makes up a GVWR rating?
I am wondering what it is in the design of a trailer's frame and suspension or otherwise that gives it a particular GVWR rating. Is it the axles primarily? We have a trailer with a GVWR of 6800 lb...

Don't touch it...except to weigh it and take detailed pictures..don't wait to get it back to the dealer. Keep a detailed record or all dealings, conversations, names, dates, service orders, etc. and probably get KZ involved if the dealer runs you around like Lippert did.
