We used to haul around a Weber Q200, huge, heavy, hard to store, PITA to clean. Got tired of the mess, greasy drip trays, burnt stuff accumulating inside, smells inside camper, etc., and yes mold if it sits too long.
We switched gears and now have a 2-burner propane stove instead of a grill and a rectangular griddle top that has a groove to catch grease. This baby puts out some heat! Cleanup is soooo easy, everything is light and small. It all fits in our outside generator compartment with room to spare. Hooks directly to our LP line, or you can use regular high-pressure bottles.
We can make just about everything on it we used to throw on the grill, minus the flame-grilled taste. We can make our pancakes and bacon for breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, veggies and chicken kabobs for dinner, all with this one setup.
Just a thought...
