I got news for you all, sheet metal will be thinner for all new vehicles as automakers attempt to shed weight. I have never had an issue with a vehicles sheet metal being to thin.
Power wise the 2007 Tundra was ahead of the Big 3.
IIRC the new 2015 F150 is supposedly going to have some aluminum panels.
