Through the years I have learned not to rely on any manufacturers data relative to weights. Let's just say with all the emphasis on light weight and now even ultra-light weight trailers that are targeted for 1/2-ton trucks it is in their best interest to keep all published weights low.
I would therefore load the trailer with your all your gear as you want to tow it and weigh the tongue weight. Once you get that weight you shou8ld also add the weight of items you will pack in the truck box from the axle back. Yes it is a little extra work to do this but it is better than getting bars too light and not be able to transfer the weight to the trucks front tires. Just as bad is getting too heavy of bars and beating the trailer and truck on rough roads. Let's just say 'been there done that.'
You could weigh the tongue with a portable scale that sells for about $125 or just use a bathroom scale. It is pretty easy to do with a bathroom scale. Below is a link to a portable scale as well as instructions how to get the weight with a bathroom scale.
