Since you don't know for sure, I would use the GVWR of 8495, and use 13-14 percent of that. 13 pct is 1104 lbs, 14 pct is 1189. So, I would opt for a min of 1200. That way you should be covered for weights up to your GVWR.
Don't cut it too short in case you add an extra cheeseburger to the tongue weight (grin).
You could go 1400 if you wanted with no real impact in my opinion.
