Yes, I agree. When I do the math:
dry hitch weight = 1055
trailer dry weight = 7880
= 13%
Now, load the trailer to the max at 9950 and x by 13% = 1,332. Add a hitch at 100 lbs, and total is 1432.
The 815lb weight I quoted was from Jayco's site for 2013.
