I have a Sharp and a Sony...both reputable brands but the Sony has a cool feature that allows me to turn the picture off and just listen to the TV which is nice during the evening news. The Sony also changes channels quicker and loads the programming info much faster on OTA viewing. I think all descent brands will hold up in a TT, but I'd look at the reviews before settling for a cheaper TV.
