x2, or nearly so. I've found that one can usually get pretty good deals on 1-2 year old low mileage vehicles.
That said, I'm guessing they're looking to not have a payment... (IMO though, it'll come in the form of higher maintenance costs. Pay it forward, or pay it later ...)
Yeah. One person's definition of "very small" payments is another person's fortune. I'm in the earliest years of retirement and really don't want even a $300 per month payment. Those new F-150's look nice, but even with our $20K trade we'd be saddled with much more than we are willing to pay in a monthly payment.
Are these (2010 or 2011) vehicles really going to cost me hundreds of dollars in monthly repair/maintenance costs? If so, I'd better start re-thinking this whole thing. Again.
