Towing a TT you will need:
Weight distributing hitch. I recommend Equql-i-zer 4-pt or Reese Straight Line, about $450 for parts. Can be $100-400.
Electric brake controller: $125 parts, $100 labor
Your truck needs a transmission cooler: $50-100 part, $150-300 labor
Receiver: $200 part, $50-100 labor
7-pin wiring: $75-150 parts, $100-200 labor
You really should consider how much you like your truck and how long you will keep it. None of the upgrade costs will have any additional resale value. You may want to find the "right" replacement vehicle first. Some things that are $100 new by the OEM can be thousands to change later.
