X2 on the U-haul comment. Don't let them touch your truck, it's a bunch of idiot teenagers that don't care about anything, especially your truck. I rented a 6x12 trailer once, the connection on it was different than my truck. So when I picked it up, they spliced the wires in with solderless connectors which was fine. Then, when I brought the trailer back, while I was inside doing the paperwork they "unhooked" the trailer for me. This entailed getting underneath my truck and pulling on all the wires until it completely destroyed all the wiring underneath. Ofcourse, the idiot teenager said nothing to me, and I didn't even notice until I went to pull a trailer a month later. I was PISSED. Buy a receiver through a local bumper/hitch shop and have them install that, along with the wiring. You're probably looking at $300 for a good receiver, $125 to wire it with a plug, and if you want a WD hitch, probably another $300. Just my $.02
