ok, as some of you know we are in the process of rebuilding (more like building) a 76 Amerigo Truck Camper. For others, this is what we have done so far... All framing (90% new) complete All 3 vents...

Interior paneling has been a bone of contention between me and hubby. I stained a piece of luan ( a nice piece) with grey stain (my interior will be done in a grey/platinum/stainless) Looked really good and only to be used as the wall inside the snap n nap. We were going to make it really high gloss. Well a few days after the staining, the luan started to peal. That ticked hubby off and he "banned" all types of luan. Well... that was before he saw the cost of inertior RV walls. 150.00 per sheet excluding shipping.
So now we are re-visiting luan... with a heavy duty vinyl wall-paper. Got geometric "mod" square for the interior of the snap nap. It is a paintable wallpaper, so we want to paint that metallic. We got just a textured wall paper for the remainder of the walls and a wall-paper that looks like old "tin" for the ceiling. One of the walls, we are getting vintage metallic 70's wallpaper for an accent. I also plan on bringing in a small disco ball that spins and light up, amongst other 1970's "MOD" decor. I plan on this thing being totally modern but with flashes of 70's.
I personally don't really like most of the decor from the 70's, but I have a desire to make this thing "studio 54" high gloss disco. LOL Guess because it was before my time. What did you use and did you get good results?
