That's good because there's nothing to "go after." It's your fault that the trailer got damaged because you didn't verify your ability to turn.
I don't really mean to rub salt in the wound, but that's what they're going to tell you after you've spent way more on legal fees than the cost of the repair. Of course a decent lawyer would tell you that up front in the free 30 minute consultation.
