I don't really mean to rub salt in the wound, but that's what they're going to tell you after you've spent way more on legal fees than the cost of the repair. Of course a decent lawyer would tell you that up front in the free 30 minute consultation.
Agreed. I was kind of humoring the last poster. It's like an hour job to push the dents out and put some matching nail polish on. Not a concern at all.
Legal battles aren't worth it.
Ask me about the $3500 I paid to get a small oil leak fixed on my Dodge Ram pulling all this around. Misdiagnosed as rear main seal, the pulled apart the transmission and didn't put it together right again. Now the synchros don't work if the transmission is not at maximum operating temperature. I have to double clutch like it's a 1942 Jeep Willys.
Should have taken them to small claims. But... I'm not retired. I earn more working than fighting litte fights like that in the same amount of time.
