Whats the best way to search for a nation wide TC purchase?

Found mine on RVT.com. I'd never heard of it but I think I Googled "Bigfoot for sale" and found it. 1400 miles away, from an individual. One year and all is well.

Check out Toms Camperland in AZ , 3 locations . Lots of TC`s , like 50-60 , I saw a used Host Yukon side entry on the site , lots of Lances .
In my opinion you should go to a RV show or a place with a lot of campers and see what will suit your needs , 1 slide ,2 ,layout ...
Take your wife and dog , you may fall in love with a camper more after actually being in it

In general focus on the PNW and mountain west states. That's where the vast majority of TCs are and also the right side of the country for you.
Personally I'd go private party. Can't trust a dealer anymore than Joe blow so why pay the premium. It's buyer beware anyway.
Craigslist seattle alone probably has 100+ TCs any given day. And if you know or can find a rvnet buddy to check it out first when you find the "one". That's a bonus.

I bought my 2008 Lance 805 3 states away from me last February using Search Tempest. I was specifically looking for that model so it took a while.

Whatever you do, before you buy anything used, follow my advice on water intrusion and check the seals carefully. Better to be informed than rotten / moldy / soggy.

Another search site to try is www.yakaz.com. It'll search craigslist, ebay and several other for sale/classified sites.

I found my TC 4 states away from me on zoomthelist.com. It searches all of Craigslist.

Search these words on Google "search all of Craig's list". It's called something like search tempest. Put in your zip and how far you want to search
