My suggestion is to just get out there and enjoy the best aspects of cold weather camping--the snug feeling of a warm trailer when coming indoors, the oven baking a sheet of biscuits or cookies, the clean air and quiet of a Winter landscape. etc. All of the other stuff is just the mechanics of how it works.
