And therin lies the potential to do more harm than good. Got perfectly acceptable performing bearings ???? .....then they get "worked on" by someone not properly trained, and you end up suffering a failure.
All of which is why over the years, I have done a lot of this stuff myself.
So true. I just had 5 new tires installed and bearings repacked on my 2009 trailer. Old tires were 7 years old, bearings only ever maintained via bearing buddies in that time, no issues ever. I'm more worried about them for our next trip than I've ever been :(
