I took it apart today just to slide it back. The pin or bolt or whatever that is supposed to go down the middle and hold the springs in place is missing. I couldn't see any cracks in them but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
The axle says 4400lb. Does that mean each spring should be rated at 2200? I'm not seeing these online.
