Most trucks made in the last 20+ years have tiedown points low in the corners of the truck bed. I would just rig up a tether with a carabiner to keep the skis from sliding back.
The B800 has storage compartments that block the rear opening of the bed, though. How are you going to get the skis in and out, and if you do get them in, how would they fall out?
