I use truck stops and the newer larger stations along the interstate for fuel when travelling.
When we stop for the night at an RV park I will unhitch & go to the nearest station and get fuel to be ready for travel the next day.
On secondary roads, I find most of the stations were built on larger pieces of land and they cater to farm vehicles so there is plenty of room for a trailer.
