I've always gotten mad at cars that didn't pull up after filling up. Last week I had a car in front of me stop at the first pump instead of pulling to the available second pump stranding me to wait. What in the world was he thinking about? I followed him into the lot so he knew I was there.
I don't get upset at most stations whose pumps don't accomodate it big rigs unless it was a blatant bad design. If they don't have available parking, they may force a big rig to stay at the pump if the the driver has to run in the store which ties up the pumps for other customers. Now, yesterday I stopped at a station that looked like a truck stop on a multi acre lot and the pumps were aligned perpendicular to the front of the store causing problems to any trailer. This is a heavy boating/RV area so most stations design their lots to accomodate.
