When will gas stations start truly accommodating trailers?

The main reason I don't get air at fuel stations is I want to measure the proper amount when the tires are cold. Anytime I've added air to hot tires I've gone 4-5 PSI above spec and then adjusted the next morning. That was OK in my passenger car days and commuting, but I wouldn't want to try that with my whole rig setup for towing.

Plus having the battery operated air pump with us allowed me to air up my TV's spare when a rock sliced open a tire while we were out sightseeing.
