Wher to rent a trailer in Las Vegas, NV.

Hi:

Has anyone had any experience renting a trailer from an RV dealer in the Las Vegas, NV area?

We would like to rent one and take it to a RV Park around Lake Mead for a month in January of 2016.

We would also looking for information on RV Parks around Lake Mead.

We were told camping World rented them, but I have heard a lot of complaints about Camping World.

Thanks,

Terry
  • I know that there is a place in Lost Wages that will rent 2015 chevy and or GMC full sized suv and newer Airstream rvs. I'm not sure the name of the place. Regarding a place to go.... we just got back from the Valley of Fire. It is awesome. I also here that there is some good places in Death Valley. I would also recommend Zion in Utah it's only about two hours North of LV. If it were me I would make reservations at the Zion river rv resort for a couple of days and go from there to Valley of fire in the middle of the week and plan on getting to the Atalatal camp no later than 11:00 am to insure a spot. It's first come first serve. Spend at least two full days in VF and than head back.
    update RV 2 go Vagas
  • I believe Sahara Rv on Sahara and I-15 is the only place to rent trailer s
  • Here is the Airstream info.do your self a favor and don't rent from a place the has hourly rates??. http://airstream2go.com/ Airstream also has the trips planned out for you.
  • If you are really targeting a TT it would be worth a call to Johnny Walker RV to ask for a referral. Try Christine DuChesne (702) 249-0507 as she was helping me look at TT's last week.

I'm only aware of JucyRentals.com and the Class C outfits like RoadBearRV.com that do rentals beyond what someone already mentioned about Airstream2Go.com

From what I've read, the Airstream2Go folks would insist on you renting the whole rig as they are very biased towards a turnkey solution (going to the level of supplying a loaner iPad with How-To videos).

There's an outfit (ziontrailerrentals.com) up here by Zion National Park that will put a rental TT onto a space for you, I don't believe they'll let you tow theirs.
