Even though I no longer have a pop-up, I check this sub forum everyday.
I like to read posts about pop-ups, I have a great respect for the Pop-up's RV's
My first RV was a 2008 10f pop-up, and thanks to that pop-up I learned A LOT about the RV world.
That pop-up helped me understand what type of camping/traveling I like to do, and what NOT to get when I moved on to a bigger unit.
Before I had my pop-up, I was so locked on getting a HTT.
At that time I couldn't' afford HTT (new or used), so I got a USED pop-up instead, as with 2 small kids anything was better then tenting.
After 2 summers, and a few really bad rainy days, and one sever storm at the campground, I got tired from canvas/vinyl all together, and slowly ditched the HHT idea.
My old pop-up also helped me understand the importance of a floor plan, as my old pop-up had an amazing floor plan (rockwood 1910) that really worked for me.
Today I am very happy with my new small TT, but I couldn't got the right TT, were it not having my old pop-up first.
Since I have my TT, when camping with friends that come with pop-up, I ALWAYS help them setting/tear down the pop-up first, before I do my TT.
As I stated, your new Jay Flight SLX can sleep as many people as a Pop Up, has more amenties, weighs the same as a Pop Up, and costs the same as a Pop Up. No brainer IMO!
