Really, this is the first time in 10 years that I can recall ANYONE seeking a plain-jane 8" wide steel 16" rim. That's not scientific proof by a long shot but it's a pretty good litmus test.
If you're going to go to 285's, you go with bling alloy rims. After all, it's only money.
