I had 2002 F-150 that came from the factory with an extra leaf spring, I do not know why but that is what the window sticker said.
It had a "low emissions vehicle" sticker and a small 6 cylinder engine rated at 200 hp.
We rented a 25ft Edge TT, about 6000 lbs for 10 days in the Ozarks. On the flat it would run at 60 to 65 mph but you had to play the gas to keep it from down shifting. Once we got to the hills the top speed was 50 to 55 mph.
It was slow going but we learned a lot about towing and TTs.
My grandson still drives the beast with over 230,000 miles on it.
