- BedlamModeratorOn a 2-week dry camp trip, I carry 100 lbs (2-20 lb and 2-30 lb bottles) of LPG strapped in the trailer. The LPG provides fuel to the genset, evening fire and grilling.
- jimh406Explorer IIII have two stock, so I don't carry another one.

I have also carried one under the dinette or in my boat if trailering it. Always thought about adding some sort of bracket on the rear of the camper to hold a spare tank. The first 3 TCs we owned in Alaska only had single tanks, so a spare was handy to have.
Wizard, where you been?
Hi, Joe B. I haven't had a lot to add to the forum for a while so I backed out. Might just get back to it. :W - Super_DaveExplorerCamper carries 2 tanks in the designed stoarage area and I bring a 3rd to run my bbq and smoker. A milk crate is the best stabilizing device for a tank. Most of my "stuff" rides in the boat until I get to camp.
- kerry4951ExplorerI carry mine in the propane compartment along side the other 30 pounder.

Wizard, where you been? - larrybluhmExplorer5 pound backup tank lives handily right behind the wheel well storage door, curbside.
- jason4598ExplorerShouldn't need an extra tank unless its cold outside and your going to be gone for awhile.
