2-2,000 watt generators give flexibility. If A/C is not needed you can run with a single small, very quiet 2,000 watt generator. If A/C is needed you can pair the 2 and get 4,000 watts. Additionally, some A/C units can't be run on a single 3,000 generator.
If you have a built in 4,000 generator and (I assume) a built in fuel tank in a TT then you are definitely the exception as TTs with built in generators are very rare. I understand that several toy haulers have them but there are very few travel trailers with built in generators.
