My twin yammy 2k's sit in the back of the truck just behind the gate, with the exhaust pointed towards the cab of the truck.
I have a 20amp extension cord fastened to my underbelly that lets me power my rig while rolling from one of the generators. The yammy can run full bore and I don't hear it a bit once the truck is at cruising speed.
For the mere appearance of security (mostly to satisfy insurance liability), I have 3/8" hardened marine anchor chain locked to an eye in the truck bed run through the plastic handles (go figure).
