We've found the off-level specs for our last 3 fridges basically useless. One fridge would temperature spike under the slightest off-level conditions (less than 3 degrees), while our current fridge (with the same off-level specs) has yet to spike even when our truck camper is crazy off-level. No rhyme or reason. The only way you'll know what's going on is by monitoring the flue temps. An ARP Fridge Defend allows you to monitor the flue temps realtime. If you're off-level you'll see the flue temps begin to spike plenty of time before the unit shuts down your fridge. Plenty of time to make corrections before you incur a shutdown or suffer any permanent damage.
