- River_SandExplorerI have a one gallon container and store it down the right side, between the truck and camper.
- Jim_CindyExplorerfiremedic08, sorry just saw your post. I plumbed it into the house system. I use a hose and gas quick connect from US Carbureation. My system has 2 tanks with the auto changeover. I check once in a while depending on the weather and fill the empty.

One more thing, people will jump on here and compare propane to gasoline down to the penny per hour. We bought the propane Yamaha because it would be convienent to not have to carry gasoline. We camp to meet people, see the country and have fun. The nice clean Yamaha helps us do that.
Is that Plumbed in to your House Propane? or Do you have a seperate cylinder for that? - the_tc_lifeExploreranother reason why I love my side storage with the flatbed. I get to store it in the sides. it is not a sealed storage so any fumes vent out.
I have thought about getting one of those siphon tools. since my truck is gas I could just use some gas out of the truck. - msiminoffExplorer III use No-Spill fuel cans exclusively for gasoline & diesel fuel... They work just as well as the videos on their website show.
I have a 1.25gal red/gasoline No-Spill can that I stow in the (ventilated) compartment on the side of my TC where the batteries used to be.
When I need to carry extra fuel for the truck & motorcycle, I use in 2.5 & 5 gal' No-Spills that go on the rear hitch-mounted cargo tray.
Cheers

I am trying out something new. I went to REI and bought two 30 oz MSR backpacking white gas fuel metal bottles. They are stored in the generator compartment/bin that came with the camper. I don't use the generator often so I figure that if we start with a full tank in the generator, the two bottles will provide plenty of backup.

Lp vs gasoline debate is always good around the campfire...;) Since I only have one 20 lb bottle of propane, it's not going toward a generator. Of course the cleanest option is solar.
Just curious, do they make kits to convert a Honda EU2000i to propane?
Bought our propane/natural gas/gasoline Yamaha new from US Carburetion, I know they make kits for a lot of different models. Our Yamaha has about 110 hrs on it and has never had gasoline in the tank. - 69_AvionExplorer
