Motorhomes and TTs are different beasts when it comes to storage. A 24' motorhome has far less space than a 24' TT because of the cab.
However, with a motorhome, you can get a hitch mounted cargo carrier coupled with a locking container that can help greatly with storage.
Funny but you are correct. When we transferred everything from our 19 ft TT to our 34ft MH we weren't sure would be enough room. Much of the MH storage is out side in cargo bays. However, the clothes closets are larger
