PS - By rash, I meant more problems than the 5.9L. I did not mean to imply that there was a sudden increase with that problem recently. If anything, the addition of DEF should have reduced the occurrences.
From what I've gathered that issue was resolved several years ago. Some owners may never have had all the updates performed and thus could be susceptible. Mostly affects the 2007.5-2009 models. I have a 2007.5 first year 6.7L. Numerous updates over the years and some did address the fuel dilution issue.
