Reason I asked is you asked you said "Cummins isn't suitable for rv towing?" I said it was not a problem if used as a truck.
I stand by what I said not sure how you came up with your comments.
If all you do is short trips NO DIESEL will fare well in those conditions.
I local drive my 11 HO Dually all the time long and short trips plus tow with it. never had a forced region occur and fuel dilution less than .05%
What I said originally.
"All that was talked about was fuel dilution being a problem. I agree it is a problem but if a person uses the 07.5 thru 12 6.7 like a truck instead of a grocery getter the fuel dilution will not be problem."
So if Fred and Edna need a reliable tow truck to pull their 14k lb 5th wheel south for the winter and use their truck as their daily driver, then back north for the summer each season, the Cummins isn't suitable because it needs to be driven like a truck? Groceries is what it will be getting for six months, then a couple of days of towing and six more months of grocery getting. The 6.4L Hemi or 6.2L Ford might be the answer?
