carwl32, good luck with your rebuild.... brother and I did one to one of our MTCs found international was $4000.00 cheaper for long block 6.0 then ford, wonder if Cummins has better price for long or short block?

PS - By rash, I meant more problems than the 5.9L. I did not mean to imply that there was a sudden increase with that problem recently. If anything, the addition of DEF should have reduced the occurrences.
Do you mean a "rash" of bottom end failures or a "rash" of fuel dilutions? Or are you referring to the "rash" of ford powerstroke fuel dilutions? (google ford powerstroke fuel dilutions) :h
