My 2005 PSD with 110,000 averaged out to 35 mph if I divided operating hours into odometer miles. This truck typically traveled 55-65 mph on the highway because it was always towing something, but it also saw some winding secondary roads that ranged 25-45 mph. I'm not sure if this calculation gives you a good idea of idle hours - The hour meter is good for referencing service intervals.
