Where to jack up the front of a SRW 2011 F350?

I will put up some photos to ask about the jack up spots to use.

#1 This spot is on the passenger side. It is at the end of the axle. Kind of a heavy circular piece of metal.

#2 This is the front axle near the right wheel

#3 This is an area under the passenger side axle.

#4 This is driver side. There is a flat spot on the end of the differential casting. Sounds like what they are atalking about in the Ford manual.

  • Big trucks usually don't have pinch points on the unibody.. Way to heavy and they have an actual frame. You would most likely put the jack right through the floor board.

That long thing you are looking at is the radias arm going front to rear. In the back, behind the front tire, you can jack from there and also from the front of it where most of your pictures are showing.

Hah, yeah it's Ohio. Flat as a pancake and they salt the roads way more than any western mountainous states. Kentucky is nearly as bad with salt, it's disgusting. After spending a few years in that region I simply can't understand why a person would even want to own something new or remotely nice!

In response to the original post, read the manual. More than likely they will advise the axle tubes as far outboard as possible.
  • Yes I looked at the manual. Can't figure out their spots on the passenger side.

Rust? I just took it on a few winter trips. The road salt must be the cause.
  • pic number 2 to the right of your finger is a great spot to put the jack. That is part of the main frame.

  • My F350 owners manual shows the jack placement. Have you check yours?
  • not sure on your frame but under the front door closest to front tire their should be a spot to jack up a truck off the frame itself. sorry im not an exact answer for ya.
