where to measure to determine if trailer is level

When we brought our trailer home, we used a level in the fridge and stove to get the trailer level. Then we mounted stick on levels on the front and side of the trailer. We bought the kind that have calibrations that are supposed to tell you how far out of level you are. It helps figure how many of those plastic things to throw under the tires.
