Which brand & model of walkie talkies for my "spotter?"

Even though DW is what I call "the Hitch Ball Wizard" (an amazing spotter), there are times (in the darkness, especially) that I can't see her hand signals while backing up. And I can't hear her over...

DH and I use our cellphones. I'm the driver, and I just set mine on speaker phone and sit in in my lap or on the center console. Works fine, as long as you're in an area with service.
