Which brand & model of walkie talkies for my "spotter?"

Even though DW is what I call "the Hitch Ball Wizard" (an amazing spotter), there are times (in the darkness, especially) that I can't see her hand signals while backing up. And I can't hear her over...

Well Profdant, why not use telepathy or psychic powers.I don't know what the problem could be. After 40 years of marriage she can certainly read your mind. However I can attest to the fact that the male half can never figure out what any DW is thinking.:B ( we are also at the 40 year mark)
We have rechargeable Motorola FRS. Then comes the problem of teaching the spotter to use the push to talk button.
