Do the math. Watts divided by 120V = amps. So, if you need at least 20 amp output you would need at least a 2400 watt generator. In reality that means you need a 3000 watt generator to meet your most basic needs. Most A/C units will do OK with 15 amps but you know your unit better than anyone.
